Steve McNerney, Firmware Engineer, President
Steve’s experience as a firmware and senior systems engineer is unique, having worked in industrial automation, motion control, GUI development, embedded software and with medical devices. As such, he’s a valuable asset to PresenterTek, contributing both towards the leadership and all electronics architecture.
In a previous role with a medical device manufacturer which offered season concert tickets to Shoreline Amphitheater, he developed an affinity towards music and is now an accomplished guitarist helping to mentor younger adults in learning to play the acoustic, bass and electric guitar. His favorite guitar is electric…go figure!
Steve also spends much of his leisure time travelling and on a pontoon boat owned with his wife Grace.

Ryan DeYoung, Director of Sales
Ryan joined our team coming from the world of fine art and tv/film production.
He spent the last twenty years traveling to exotic locations immersing himself in the local customs. After spending ten years in Hawaii, he returned home to Nevada City, CA.
" I joined Presenter Tek because of my love for Fine Art. The products we offer are masterfully designed and engineered like a Michaelangelo sculpture. It is my honor to be involved with such a great group of people who are proud of creating solutions for today’s ever-changing needs. I enjoy spending my free time playing in the magical wonderland that is the Gold country.”
Thom Tanner, Mechanical Engineer
Away from PresenterTek, Thom can be found rock climbing, backcountry skiing, paddle boarding, cycling and travelling. He enjoys Spartan races and alpine mountaineering, with a planned visit to Everest base camp in spring 2022.
At a young age, he realized his heroes were inventors and responsible people everywhere. He’s been a volunteer in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program for 8 years, and also donates his time as a licensed medic for the Special Olympics.
An avid supporter of US Veterans, he will always stand for the national anthem to honor those who sacrificed their lives so that we may be free.
